A Bit About Me
I have the opportunity to travel to Uganda this summer on a mission trip with the Rural Pastors Institute, and this will be my first mission trip. I’m excited to step into this new experience and see how God will work through it. I know it will stretch me, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve.
When I was about seven or eight years old, I regularly attended church activities at a park near my home. At the time, it felt like a simple routine—games, lessons, and time spent with other kids—but God was quietly at work in my life. Even though my family and I attended church regularly, it was in that same park, surrounded by that church community, that I first heard the message of the gospel in a way I could truly understand. There, as a child, I accepted Christ and was saved.

Even though I was young, that moment marked the beginning of my faith journey. I may not have fully understood everything at the time, but I knew that God loved me and that I wanted to follow Him. As I’ve grown older, my understanding of faith has deepened, and I can now look back and see how God has remained faithful in my life, even through seasons of doubt, growth, and learning.

That early experience reminds me that God can meet us anywhere—even in ordinary places—and call us to Himself. I know that I serve a faithful God who began working in my life at a young age and continues to shape me today.

I am willing to work hard and help wherever I am needed as we serve alongside the team.

On this trip, we’ll be serving alongside the local team, helping build the model home on the RPI Model Farm property and visiting pastors in their villages to encourage and support them.

Please pray for me and our team—for safe travel, willing hearts, and that God would use this experience to grow my faith and bless the people we serve.
