Raising goats is a great benefit to the rural pastor. Usually goats run around freely in Uganda but fencing herds will protect the goat herds.

 

By helping the pastors learn some simple modern farming techniques they will be equipped to provide for things such as school fees for their children, or other daily necessities. The milk and meat will also directly provide needed protein for the pastor and his family.

Building these goat enclosures for pastors who are being trained in goat raising will:

• facilitate better family farming operations

• provide family food needs

• provide a much-needed income source​
