A Bit About Me

I have the opportunity to return to Uganda this summer on a mission trip with the Rural Pastors Institute, and I’m really looking forward to serving with the team again. I’ve traveled to Uganda before in 2022 and again in 2024 and 2025, and each trip has helped me better understand the ministry and where help is needed most. On the 2024 trip, I helped build a cow enclosure in a village for one of the pastors as he worked to raise a cow to help support his family. The intention for the enclosure was also to serve as a training ground where others could learn practical skills that would provide long-term sustainability.

Experiences like these have given me a deeper understanding of the ministry and strengthened my desire to continue serving however I can.

Serving on these trips flows out of my faith and the ways God has shaped my life over the years.

As for my own testimony, I wrestled with accepting Jesus as my personal Savior throughout my teen years and early twenties. During that time, I learned to trust God’s plan for my life and rely on Him not just for today, but for my future and eternity. I am so thankful for the ways God has chosen to use my life, and I’ve been involved in leading men’s small groups and retreats and enjoy encouraging and walking alongside others in their faith.

I’m happy to help wherever needed, whether that’s manual labor, construction, or behind-the-scenes planning and logistics. I work professionally as an HVAC design engineer and enjoy organizing projects and leading teams to get the job done.

On this trip, we’ll continue serving alongside the local team, supporting ministry efforts and helping build a model home

on the RPI Model Farm property that will strengthen pastors, families, and sustainability efforts. We’ll also visit some of the pastors in their villages.

Please pray for me and our team—for safe travel, unity, wisdom, and that God would use our work to encourage and serve the people we meet.
