A Bit About Me

I have the opportunity to travel to Uganda this summer on a mission trip with the Rural Pastors Institute, and this will be my first mission trip. I’m excited to see what God will do through this new adventure. I’m a little nervous stepping into something new, but I’m thankful to be going alongside a couple people from my church.

I grew up in the church, stepped away for a few years, and then started attending Gowen Bible Church. Since coming back, I was re-baptized by my pastor, Zach Nyhuis, and I’ve been working to grow in my faith and get more involved. God has really been drawing me closer to Him and helping me take steps forward in my walk with Christ.

I work as a truck driver and spend much of my time on the road, which has taught me to be flexible, dependable, and ready to work hard. I’m also a handyman and glad to help wherever needed, especially with practical projects.

On this trip, we’ll be serving alongside the local team, helping with building projects on the Model Farm and visiting pastors in their villages to encourage and support them.

Please pray for me and our team—for safe travel, steady faith, and that God would use this experience to grow me and to serve the people we meet.
